April 10 Today's Work on the Zambian Church BuildingHere are some pictures which Jennifer sent showing the progress on the church building. So many have been asking me how it was progressing, so I am glad she sent the pictures so that we could all see for ourselves. Again, we have been able to take over $10,000 over for the building project in the last year and three months. They are almost at the window stage, and still have blocks. You can count how high the blocks are from the pictures. By the end of that work day, the blocks with five high. I was told that the walls are supposed to be eleven or twelve blocks high when finished. How exciting it must be for that community surrounding the church to see this church building going up. You can see the fresh work they have done. The ended the day about five blocks high. Praise the Lord! April 06 Just Incredible!Sometimes things come along that I just have to comment on. This is it. Dave Barry, one of my great spiritual mentors, had this linked to his blog. His caption on this was something like, "Is this how Jack Baur heals so fast?" I don't know about that stuff, but I do know that Jesus did not carry a box of bandages around with Him. I cannot reconcile that ambiguity in my finite mind. Maybe someone else can, but I cannot. It just leaves me completely braindead. However, this is a real product that you can buy and use. But please don't expect any additional help in the healing process from Jesus just because you use one of His bandages. God already made our bodies so that they would repair themselves. Next, I guess we will be having "Jesus Motrin," "Jesus Knee Braces," and "Jesus Wheelchairs." Where will it stop? Only when someone figures that they can't make more money off of Jesus' name, I guess.
Maybe we can use them to cover our sins.
