Memorial Day
Happy Memorial Day everyone. We are headed to Pastor Beatty's great church in Garretsville for the annual Memorial Day services and picnic. Then we will head to Union City Indiana for the funeral of a dear friend, Ed Burton. Before we left Mesick, we were able to finally get delivery on the headstone for my son Jeremy's cemetary site. I will include pictures below of this special time with the family while at the cemetary. Jeremy was a wonderful young man, and we miss his presence greatly. There are no words to explain how we still miss him, but we know we shall see him someday in Heaven. May God richly bless all of you on this Memorial Day.
-Pastor Ben

I designed the stone myself as a Bible with John 3:16 personalized for Jeremy to tell others of his salvation in Jesus Christ.

Bethany taking another picture. You can see the size better from this perspective.
Carter, Parker, and Jessica posing with the headstone. Carter and Parker started bringing "Uncle Jeremy" small stones to place on the headstone.

Our dear brother, Ed Burton, sitting behind Pastor Shepherd in the last Lordship Conference at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Union City, Indiana. Ed is sitting with his precious wife Iris ("Red"). Ed was so faithful to the Lord for many years, always faithful to his pastor, and a good friend to my family and me. Debbie, Bethany, Jennifer, and I always stayed with Ed and Iris when we went to the Conference there. I remember many nights staying up listening to Ed tell story after story of his many experiences. I learned so much from him. I'm sure he is having a shouting time in heaven right now. Remember Iris in your prayers. She will be lonely without her dear husband.
